My name’s Manu, I was born on August 18th, 1989 in Uznach, a village close to the lake of Zurich in Switzerland. I grew up and went to school in Buttikon, then I took my A-levels in Nuolen. After this, I moved to Zurich, where I am now studying German literature and English linguistics and literature at the University of Zurich. I want to be a teacher one day. 🙂 Besides my studies I’m working as a cashier at an electronics discount in Zurich.
I love traveling, reading, going to concerts, geocaching, baking, cooking, postcrossing, listening to music, going to the cinema, learning languages – and blogging, of course!
Sluníčko means “sun” in Czech language. A czech friend of mine gave me that nickname, because he thinks that I am a real “sunshine” – and I loved that a lot. I’m currently learning czech with a tutorial produced by sprachenlernen24.de … It’s really difficult for me, because I don’t know any of the Slavic languages yet, but it’s big fun anyway.
